The i50B Tracker is fully integrated with our DataGate back-end IP routing software, allowing complete end-to-end performance with a choice of mapping programs and client workstation software (optional) or direct connection to most Database programs.
The i50B connects to the DB-25 connector (COM-1) on the rear of NEXEDGE and earlier Kenwood Analog radios. An internal high sensitivity GPS receiver is standard on all models. The i50 has extensive programming options including eight programmable I/Os and GPS reporting functions. The internal "G" force module monitors for dangerous driving habits.

EXTERNAL PLUG-INS
Garmin (Fleet Management)
| Garmin units with the Fleet Management (FMI) firmware can simply plug into the rear panel of the Tracker i50 providing two-way text messaging and turn-by-turn mapping and navigation. Also allows messages and destination details to be sent from the base computer running DataHost to the Garmin terminal. The driver can send canned or free-form messages using the on screen QWERTY keypad. |  |
Grace Industries (Lone-Worker Protection)

The Grace T-Pass series of wireless safety monitoring devices provides two-way data communications between workers and their vehicles. The information is then relayed over satellite, cellular or mobile radio channels to the base monitoring software. If the worker collapses or is incapacitated the unit will automatically send an emergency alert to the base monitoring control. Workers can be up to 2 km from their vehicle (line of sight) and still be in communication with the base office or monitoring desk. |

Engine Monitoring
The Tracker i50 can monitor engine parameters and report any potential problems to the maintenance department by email within seconds averting major engine damage. Click here for more details
AES-256 Encryption
For Military and Law Enforcement applications the Tracker i50 and DataGate IP routing software can be supplied encrypted to AES-256 standard. This is identified as the Tracker i50C. The i50B version has no encryption.
