Datalink developes E-Mail interface for Kenwood LMR (NEXEDGE and Analog). Initially developed for Hotel service staff using handheld radios, Datalink's E-link server processes standard Internet POP-3 email creating a simple text file that is sent over the Kenwood radio network to the target radio. Reply messages can be sent back to the original sender. This bypasses any voice dispatch desk, allowing staff members to send Email messages over any internet link to remote mobile and handheld radios.
